The brief for this project challenged me to name and brand an abstract cafe.
For my response, I decided to focus on a simple, yet memorable name and logo,
whilst experimenting with bold colours and uncommon materials in order to shy
away from the earth tones that are commonplace in cafes today.
The inspiration behind my response stemmed from both swiss design, and from the
work of dutch painter, Piet Mondrian. The result steals customer attention whilst
displaying a playful dimension through the use of simplistic, vivid-coloured labels,
emblazoned on miniature, clear plastic signposts.
